Summer Reading Program
June 7 - July 31, 2010

The Library offers all kinds of summer fun. You can participate in the following programs on your own schedule, in your own time, to your own liking.

Help Me Make a Splash: Read to Me!
Ages 3 to 6
Spend time reading with those who love and care for you – have them write down the titles in a log we will provide for you. When you have read 10 books come to the Library to collect a free book of your own. (One book per week). For each 10 books you read, you can enter a weekly drawing for special book prizes.

Make A Splash: Read!
Ages 7 to 6th grade
Complete activity cards through the eight week program to earn chances for prize drawings. There are four cards total, you can do as many as you want. The more you do, the greater your chances of being a lucky drawing winner. You’ll be doing some reading, some listening, some drawing, some crafting, some fishing, and some eating!

Ages 7th grade and up

Animals of the Rainforest
Dino from Nature’s Niche will have his amazing animals of the rainforest with him. You don’t want to miss this show. Come early for a good seat. This show packs the house.

Tuesday June 22 @ 10:00 a.m. @ Little Wolf High School
Tom Pease
Singer/songwriter Pease is famous the whole State over for his songs. This frequent “Parents Choice” award winner is from Amherst and he knows how to get capture the crowd. Everyone is welcome at this event.

Rodeo Lunch!
Don’t miss the free lunch, Ellen’s secret recipe lemonade, and the best of all, a visit by Queen Samantha!

Mulan, Jr. (a play)
Waupaca Community Children’s Theatre presents Mulan, Jr., an adaptation of Disney’s Mulan. This will be the third time the Theatre has performed in Manawa and they’re always a hit.

Thursday July 29 @ 11:00 a.m. @ the Library
Finale Show & Picnic
Vaudeville entertainer Jeff McMullen is back by popular demand and he’ll whip the crowd into uproarious laughter to work up an appetite for the picnic lunch to follow.
