This
notice is included with each CD-ROM software package checked out from
our library.
By checking
out this CD-ROM product you are agreeing to abide by all copyright restrictions
that apply under the current laws of the United States.
Use of this
product by adults or children follow the same policy guidelines as all
other library materials owned by the Sturm Memorial Library.
CD-ROMs
circulate for one week. (There is a grace period for returning items to
the library). The fine for overdue items is $1.00 per day to a maximum
of $10.00.
There is
a limit of two titles per family for one check-out period.
CD-ROMs
are intended for home use only, not for in library use.
The Sturm
Memorial Library accepts no responsibility for damage to personal computer
equipment or software caused by use of library materials. Library patrons
are advised that some CD-ROM products, during installation or use, automatically
load software or alter existing software. Library patrons should consider
backing up system and other files before using any library CD-ROM software.
Manuals
and instructions sheets written by the provider of the CD-ROM software
are included with the software as available. Library patrons who check
out CD-ROM software are responsible for all parts of the package as listed
on the labeling.
The Sturm
Memorial Library does not provide technical assistance for hardware or
software problems due to the variety of system configurations for personal
computer equipment. Some retailers and publishers provide telephone and
other support for troubleshooting and this information can sometimes be
found on the CD-ROM packaging.
